Professional Experience

A summary of my relavant work and project experience.

IBM Technical Sales Engineer

June 2023 - Present

Design viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities while providing input to teams for solutions refinement.

Create technical proof points through technical accelerators, including demonstrations, solution designs, and minimum viable products.

Serve as a hands-on practitioner for IBM's Power products.

TMI Episcopal Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach

April 2023 - May 2023

Led the defensive unit in district play up to the state championship game, upsetting the second and third seeds as a fourth seed in the tournament.

Advised high school players on schematics and techniques during film sessions, practices, and strength training.

Provided valuable experience and perspective as a former student-athlete to help enable the team to reach their full capabilities.

Meta Software Engineer Intern

May 2021 - August 2021

Using Hack and React, I created an internal tool to parse complex text files into a visual hierarchical tree structure.

This visualization tool alleviates debugging time by helping engineers pinpoint where their issues lie.

I presented the tool to the Facebook Stories Delivery Team and received positive feedback that the tool would be beneficial for future use.

Project Experience

CourseFlow Web Application

May 2022 - June 2022

My team and I designed a website using Python and Figma as an alternative to navigating the complex program guide.

The site allowed computer science students to easily explore upper-level elective courses based on their interests.

As a project manager and software engineer, I lead team meetings and created detailed project milestones.

Agility Cones Embedded System

September 2021 - December 2021

Developed smart cones that have sensors, buttons, lights, and timing capabilities designed to enhance an athlete's individual speed training.

Created an iOS app with Swift, providing a user interface for drill selection, timing, and Bluetooth communications between the cone and phone.

As a project manager and software engineer, I evaluated the team's technology needs and suggested improvements to hardware and software.

Dino Dodge PC Video Game

September 2018 - December 2018

Utilizing GameMaker, we implemented a maze-oriented game where the player, a caveman, has to navigate a maze to find the exit without getting caught by the dinosaur.

The game is accessible for players with glaucoma and color blindness because the player's screen is zoomed in on the caveman and his surroundings, not the entire maze, and the game includes a black-and-white color mode.

We presented our final game demo as a team to a group of high school students and received the second-best overall game out of ten projects.

Organizations
